This innovative series takes a fresh approach to teaching children about other cultures. Using a variety of everyday materials--paper, clay, beads, felt--young readers are invited to follow simple step-by-step instructions to create attractive and functional objects. Students will learn how folk crafts are a part of cultural traditions all around the world.
