"But I thought you said we were in this world? What's this world?"
"You are still in Ireland, but you are in Faery too. Here it is like, and it is unlike, the same and not the same. Some people call it Otherworld and some people say Tir-na-nOg."

Ten years in the writing, here is a comic fantasy set in the world of Irish mythology and faery. It tells of the coming of the Great Queen, the Morrigan, from out of the West to free the snake, Olc Glas, and so bring destruction to the world.

Two children, Pidge and Brigit, are chosen to thwart the Morrigan. All true creatures help where they can, but the children must find the way themselves. Meanwhile the hounds of the Morrigan are trailing them, waiting for their chance to hunt them down.
